Detecting a collision
Should the radar detect a high risk of collision it will sound a warning to encourage you to take action. As soon as you react and apply the brakes, the system will already have prepared Pre-Crash Brake Assist: this is where the maximum force available is applied to the brakes regardless of the pressure you apply yourself.
