Making the Yaris stand out

The colour is the first element to catch the eye
ED2 played a leading role in defining the CMF (Colour, Material and Finishing) of the significantly updated Yaris model that launched in 2020.

Throughout, sensory quality was a key focus point, in terms of the touch, operation and sound of the controls, colours, illumination, shapes, patterns, graphics and overall appearance. The distinctive red colour gives the Yaris another strong eye-catching feature. Named Tokyo Fusion, it was developed especially for Yaris by our CMF designer. It gives the car a punchy, bold and dynamic feel for the target customer, a woman in her mid-thirties living in Paris.
